SprocOptimizer is licensed on a per-SQL-Server-instance, perpetual basis. Upon purchase, SprocOptimizer grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the software on the number of SQL Server instances specified by your license tier.
You may install SprocOptimizer on servers within your organization for the purpose of analyzing and optimizing SQL Server stored procedures. You may not sublicense, redistribute, reverse engineer, or resell the software.
SprocOptimizer connects to third-party AI services (Anthropic or AWS Bedrock) using your own API credentials. You are responsible for your own API usage and costs. SprocOptimizer is not liable for AI service outages or changes to third-party pricing.
Your license includes one year of software updates and technical support. After the first year, annual maintenance and support renewal is available at 20% of the original license fee. The software continues to function without renewal; you simply won't receive updates or support.
SprocOptimizer is provided "as is." While the software includes multiple safety checks (logical equivalence verification, test harness validation, promotion thresholds), SprocOptimizer is not liable for damages arising from stored procedure modifications made by the software. We strongly recommend maintaining backups and testing in non-production environments before deploying changes.
